Finesse reins come in various types, colors, and buckles. These are perfect to complete your Finesse Bridle and give you that full Finesse look.
The different types of reins:
- Covered: Provide a softer feel in the hand and all feature stops, which helps maintain a good grip.
- Biothane/Rubber: Very gentle on the hands. We recommend wearing gloves as the rubber can become slippery when wet, but this is not an issue when gloves are worn.
- Only with stops: Suitable for horses that tend to pull the reins out of your hands, as the stops offer a better grip.
- Weymouth: Narrower and made of pure leather without stops, designed for when using a double bridle.
- Jumping: Wider, featuring rubber and stops for a firmer grip when horses get overly excited during jumping.
